Title Director of Nursing

Job Duties Under the supervision of the administrator, the Director of Nursing directs and coordinates all aspects of nursing, including infection control, pharmacy, laboratory, quality assurance, medical records, and staff education. The director ensures compliance with established policies and procedures of the overall program and timely completion of reporting requirements. The director facilitates quality improvement activities in compliance with licensing and accrediting policies and regulations. Additionally, the director supports all disciplines in developing marketing strategies and networking with referral sources.

Qualifications

Current licensure in the State of California as a registered nurse.

CPR and first aid certified (American Heart Association preferred).

Education & Experience

Master's degree in psychiatric nursing or related field with experience in administration.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field with experience in psychiatric nursing and two years in nursing administration.

Four years of experience in nursing administration or supervision, with experience in psychiatric nursing.

About the Campus The Crestwood Center San Jose Psychiatric Health Facility provides a spacious environment with two living rooms, a welcoming room, visiting space, serenity room, dining room, and a beautiful courtyard. The program is dedicated to restoring a sense of hope, self-empowerment, and recovery in each client.

Pay Range $131,000 - $165,000 USD (per year)
