About the Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
for a
full-time
employed position to join our team on the island of
O’ahu.
What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including labor analgesia and anesthesia for cesarean deliveries, in collaboration with anesthesiologists and the obstetric care team
Perform and manage neuraxial techniques (epidural, spinal, and combined spinal-epidural anesthesia) and administer general anesthesia when clinically indicated
Participate in the care of high-risk obstetric patients, including those with medical comorbidities or pregnancy-related complications
Respond to urgent and emergent obstetric anesthesia needs, supporting safe, timely care for mothers and newborns
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, obstetricians, nurses, and neonatal teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Practice within a team-based, collegial anesthesia care model that emphasizes safety, professionalism, and mutual respect
Contribute to a culture of quality improvement, patient safety, and continuous learning within the department

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
