About the Opportunity Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a

board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist

for a

full-time

employed position to join our team on the island of

O‘ahu.

What You’ll Do:

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including labor analgesia, cesarean delivery anesthesia, and management of obstetric emergencies

Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs in a care‑team model, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality anesthesia services

Manage high‑risk obstetric cases and medically complex patients, coordinating care with obstetrics, maternal‑fetal medicine, and neonatal teams

Participate in call coverage and urgent/emergent obstetric anesthesia services as part of a shared team‑based schedule

Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives within the department

Practice evidence‑based medicine while maintaining flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a busy tertiary care environment

MD or DO degree; Board Eligible / Board Certified

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not‑for‑profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24‑hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high‑risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
