Gastroenterologist Job Summary: We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of digestive diseases, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in outpatient and inpatient settings. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal conditions, including reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and colorectal conditions. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and other GI interventions. Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and pathology results. Provide inpatient consultative services and coordinate care with hospitalists and other specialists as needed. Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing medical education. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and coordination of care. Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology. Active medical license to practice in [State].
