The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical design project teams to create world-class designs for various projects including power, process, healthcare, airports, industrial, and military facilities. They will oversee the project from conception through construction, ensuring designs meet client needs and budget constraints. Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design from conceptual phase to completion based on project requirements. Prepare specifications, data sheets, RFQs, bid summaries, and purchase recommendations. Review vendor drawings and coordinate with suppliers, clients, and other disciplines. Develop project schedules, scope, budgets, and manage change orders. Apply mechanical engineering standards, codes, and procedures. Develop innovative solutions for complex projects. Review drawings and data for accuracy and quality assurance. Coordinate construction administration, resolve installation issues, and perform field inspections. Build client relationships and develop new business opportunities. Participate in sales, marketing, and proposal development. Manage project budgets and performance reporting. Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/QC adherence. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and ensure safety policies are followed. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 7 years of experience, EPC project experience preferred. Or Bachelor's in Mechanical Technology with 7 years of experience and successful FE exam completion. Or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6 years of experience. Expertise in mechanical design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, NACE) and strong computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Leadership experience in large projects and team management. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel; PE license preferred. This position is based in Fort Worth and Dallas, TX, with travel up to 25%. The role is full-time and involves working in the construction industry. The posting remains open until filled, with a minimum of 72 hours.
