Infrastructure Operations Manager TS/SCI Required Who is Essnova? The Role [This role is contingent upon contract award]
The Infrastructure Operations Manager will perform ongoing operations and administration services for all data center and cloud assets, providing and supporting a stable infrastructure and effectively performing operational and processing procedures to ensure services meet service level targets and requirements.
Monitor system operations and respond to and resolve incidents in accordance with service levels, adhering to incident, problem, and change management processes.
Provide proactive monitoring measures that prevent failure and offer self‑healing capabilities to limit outages that impact service delivery.
Manage data storage (virtual, direct attached, SAN, object tape), as well as access to data residing in a centralized repository at DoD OIG's designated facilities or virtual environments.
Support and collaborate with DoD OIG and/or its designated third parties on information assurance/cybersecurity services (intrusion prevention and detection, protection) per DoD OIG's cybersecurity requirements.
Perform database administration including monitoring, auditing, and reporting.
Execute system‑user identity and access provisioning administration services, managing account activation, termination, changes, and expiration.
Perform and support security audits as required.
Provide data backup and recovery for the designated data center and cloud environments.
Provide secure remote console access to servers as needed for selected DoD OIG IT personnel and other suppliers.
Perform and manage file services, directories, transfers and other data movement in a secure fashion.
Requirements
Must have Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or information technology.
Must have 10 years’ experience in the IT field.
Must have 5 years’ experience demonstrating technical and process proficiency across a broad range of IT landscape technologies and key IT disciplines.
Must have 5 years’ experience managing on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, demonstrating cost reductions through cloud optimization, improved system uptime via proactive monitoring, and cloud migration of applications.
Must have Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification.
Must be certified as IAT Level II per DoD Task 5.3 Digital Workplace Services & 8570.01‑M guidance for baseline certifications.
Must be able to obtain a TASK ORD related computing environment system certification IAW DoD 8570.01‑M guidance for computing environment certifications as approved by agency IAW IP coordinator.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) (Expert or Managing Professional).
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Cloud Platform certification in one of the following: VMWare, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect.
