Senior Director, M&A and Corporate Development
This role is a corporate development role heavily focused on global mergers and acquisitions within a product-based, manufacturing-driven organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working in similar operating companies in global markets and will have led multiple transactions end-to-end, from initial evaluation through closing. The individual will serve as the deal quarterback, leading cross‑functional teams and external advisors through all phases of the deal lifecycle, including post‑close execution.

This is a four‑day‑per‑week in‑office role, and our client is open to relocating the right individual. Candidates must be able to provide a deal sheet of completed transactions.
Base pay range $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr
Core Responsibilities
Owns and executes M&A transactions from early-stage evaluation through signing, closing, and post-close follow-through
Serves as the central point of coordination for deal execution, guiding cross‑functional internal teams and external advisors through all workstreams required to reach investment decisions
Evaluates strategic growth opportunities through detailed commercial, strategic, and financial analysis
Builds and oversees financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases to support acquisition and partnership decisions
Leads and manages comprehensive due diligence processes across financial, legal, operational, regulatory, and other relevant areas
Structures and negotiates transaction terms, including valuation mechanics, earn‑outs, and contractual agreements
Coordinates closely with finance, legal, operations, and external advisors to ensure disciplined execution and alignment throughout the deal process
Supports effective transition of closed transactions into integration and ongoing management teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated track record of leading multiple M&A transactions from start to finish, with clear ownership and decision-making responsibility
Deep experience negotiating transaction structures and navigating complex deal dynamics
Strong technical foundation in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
Background supporting operating companies with physical products, manufacturing operations, and global commercial distribution
Experience working on cross‑border or international transactions strongly preferred
Prior exposure to manufacturing‑driven industries required; experience in regulated, product‑oriented environments is a plus
Proven ability to operate as a hands‑on leader and trusted partner across functions in fast‑moving deal environments
