About Us We are a multi-location Bobcat heavy equipment dealership serving California and Nevada, with branches in Stockton, Fresno, Merced, Sacramento, and Reno. We specialize in compact and heavy equipment solutions for construction, agriculture, landscaping, and industrial applications. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to lead our multi-branch sales operations.

Position Summary The Director of Sales oversees all dealership sales activities across all five locations. This role is responsible for developing sales strategy, driving revenue growth, leading a high-performance sales team, and strengthening customer relationships throughout our territory. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, exceptional product and market knowledge, and experience working within the heavy equipment or dealership industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the sales team across all five dealership locations to drive performance, accountability, and growth.

Create and execute sales strategies that increase revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction within the Bobcat product line.

Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships, representing the dealership professionally across all regions.

Manage sales forecasting, reporting, KPIs, ensuring accurate pipeline visibility and data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Rental departments to ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience.

Qualifications

7+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in heavy equipment, construction machinery, agriculture equipment, or dealership operations.

Strong working knowledge of Bobcat equipment or similar compact/construction machinery preferred.

Strong negotiation, communication, and customer relationship-building skills.

Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

Ability to travel between all locations regularly to lead teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience with equipment dealership operations, equipment financing, rental programs, and OEM partnerships.

Knowledge of multi-territory sales management for Heavy Equipment like Bobcats, Skit Steers, Tractors, etc.

Ability to introduce new product lines or expand market presence.
