Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler)
Join Equitable’s Individual Retirement team as a Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler). The role drives growth of Annuity Sales in the assigned region, working remotely with up to 40% travel as needed.
Key Job Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with existing clients.
Penetrate all potential clients within existing accounts.
Assess clients’ needs to promote new products.
Educate and train clients on Annuity products.
Develop new RIA relationships and manage territory.
Follow up on Internal Sales Desk leads.
Maintain sales goals and create annuity sales opportunities.
Communicate with Head of RIA Sales on an ongoing basis.
Travel within sales territory up to 40% as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years RIA sales experience.
2+ years experience selling Variable Annuities.
FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 Licenses.
Annuity, Life, and Health Insurance License.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling annuities to RIA’s and fee‑based advisors.
CLU, ChFC, and/or CFP a plus.
Direct Sales Experience.
Strong communicator; ability to simplify complex concepts.
Collaborative style with strong interpersonal skills.
Strategic business planning and results orientation.
Excellent organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000. Eligible for variable compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed benefit descriptions, please refer to the link below.
Location and Travel Primary location: UNITED STATES-Remote. Up to 40% travel within the sales territory.
