Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst of Corporate Strategy with exceptional problem‑solving, communication, and data analytics capabilities. The role reports to the Lead of Corporate Strategy and is focused on driving top‑tier shareholder return and delivering demand‑driven growth across the travel and leisure market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Analysis and Planning
Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and competitive research to inform strategic decisions.
Develop and implement strategic frameworks and models to evaluate business opportunities.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine corporate strategy and long‑term goals.
Analyze customer data to derive demand‑based insights for new strategies.
Build financial models to support business analysis and underwriting of strategic investments.
Data Analytics and Insights
Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
Develop and own corporate‑strategy data tables, create custom SQL queries, and perform data analyses on a recurring basis.
Use programming languages (Python or R) to automate data extraction, transformation, and analytic processes.
Leverage relational database management systems for in‑depth strategic analyses; experience with Databricks or similar cloud‑based systems preferred.
Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
Perform trend analysis and forecasting to project business performance.
Translate data analyses into actionable insights and recommendations.
Reporting and Visualization
Create and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Visualize complex data in an understandable and actionable manner; experience with Power BI dashboards preferred.
Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with finance, marketing, and operations teams to gather data and align on strategic objectives.
Mentor and guide junior analysts in data analytics and strategic‑analysis methodologies.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in corporate strategy and/or data analytics.
Proven track record of using data analytics to drive strategic decisions and business growth.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL (required).
Familiarity with Python or R (preferred).
Expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of database management systems and optimization (Oracle, Hyperion, SQL Server, Toad, Databricks).
Experience with data‑visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Soft Skills
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
