Data Warehouse Architect We are hiring a Data Warehouse Architect to advise and participate in the architecture of the organization’s data warehouse. This position will coordinate with various departments to develop and deliver solutions that increase scalability, automation and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage Azure Data Factory Pipelines, Data Sources, DataFlows, and custom Integration Runtimes
Leverage Microsoft PowerBI for visualization and deployment of modeled and ad‑hoc data
Maintain and expand the use of Azure Analysis Services to build tabular data models to support PowerBI
Azure Data Warehousing infrastructure, data‑organization, ETL and support
Analyze and validate data accuracy of report results
Internal facing dashboards and reporting, including monitoring major business changes
Client facing dashboards and reporting
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MS SQL Server
Working with cloud infrastructures in Azure
Experience using Dataverse, PowerApps, PowerBI
Developing, deploying, and running an application in a production environment
Infrastructure as code, service‑oriented architectures, and automation frameworks and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5‑years’ work experience in a related field
Experience using databases to update and retrieve data
Robust analytical, judgement and problem‑solving skills
Strong programming knowledge and understanding of programmatic concepts
Exemplary communication skills; ability to explain complex, highly technical information to non‑technical colleagues using clear, simple language
Excellent collaboration skills; this position transcends across the organization and will work with a variety of stakeholders
Location & Work Arrangement This position is located in our Salt Lake City, UT office, and will be a mix of in‑office and hybrid work. Qualified applicants must reside in the Salt Lake area.
