About the Role The Head of Total Rewards will lead the strategy and execution of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for S&P Global Mobility. This leader will shape an end‑to‑end rewards strategy that is competitive, aligns with business goals, and drives engagement and high performance. The role reports directly to the Mobility Chief Purpose Officer and will be based in Centreville, Virginia (with a planned relocation to Reston in 2026).
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and administer executive incentive plans and compensation programs for the company and non‑employee directors.
Lead the compensation strategy for the enterprise and advise executive leadership on business‑supporting solutions.
Support the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee (CLDC) of the Board of Directors in governing all compensation and benefits plans.
Collaborate with People, Finance, and Legal teams to develop company‑wide compensation programs, policies, and guidelines.
Design, implement, and administrate comprehensive benefits programs including health, wellness, retirement, and workforce recognition.
Build and develop a global team of Rewards professionals and manage vendor relationships.
Provide presentation materials to senior management and the CLDC.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience managing compensation and benefits programs.
Experience designing and administering executive compensation.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop successful global teams.
Strong judgment, problem‑solving, influence, and conflict resolution skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $325,000 – $435,000 (geographic location and experience will be considered).
