Vice President - US Legal Entity & FHC Regulatory Governance - Change Role Department: Finance Division

Reports to Chief Financial Officer

– protects the Morgan Stanley franchise and drives risk management.

Team: FHC & U.S. Legal Entity Regulatory Governance works across Finance, Legal, Compliance, & Risk to lead governance and control initiatives for Legal Entity Controllers and FHC Regulatory Reporting globally.

What You’ll Do

Partner with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into actionable data requirements.

Lead program delivery across projects, managing milestones, risks, and issues to keep initiatives on track.

Act as the liaison between Finance and Technology teams throughout the program management life cycle, including detailed data analysis, testing, and transition to BAU.

Proactively identify emerging risks at the department level and contribute to mitigation strategies.

What You’ll Bring

Advanced understanding of finance functions and processes (General Ledger, US GAAP/IFRS, regulatory reporting).

Experience across financial products (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, Loans) and business analysis in investment banking settings.

Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills; ability to perform detailed data quality, root‑cause, and reconciliation analyses.

Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, Alteryx, Axiom, Rally, Jira, and agile methodologies.

At least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role.

Compensation Base salary $120,000 – $205,000 per year (commensurate with experience). Total compensation may include commissions, incentive bonuses, and other benefits.
