Tax Manager or Director – 3 Locations (Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Arlington)
Overview CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is a top‑10 national professional services firm with a dedicated focus on creating opportunities for clients, people, and communities. We are looking for an experienced tax professional to join our growing Tax Practice as a Tax Manager or Director.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
Foster and build opportunities for clients, communities, and people.
Become an industry professional and attend industry‑leading events and trainings.
Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.
Desire to join a firm that supports and fosters career goals.
Strong problem‑solving skills and confidence in presenting solutions.
Passion for working with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically.

Compensation The compensation range for this position in Maryland is $108,500.00–$184,000.00. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position within the range.
