Starting Salary Range:
$132,000 - $167,000 a year.
Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Core Working Hours:
10:00–15:00 EST
Responsibilities
Support attorneys handling administrative and federal litigation throughout the life of a case.
Review case materials to become familiar with questions under consideration.
Search and summarize relevant articles in trade magazines, law reviews, studies, financial reports, etc., for attorneys’ use in preparing opinions, briefs and other documents.
Prepare summary interview reports for attorney review.
Extract and verify legal references and citations in prepared documents.
Draft and edit non‑legal memoranda, research reports, and correspondence related to cases.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.), admitted to a state bar in good standing and possessing 4–8 years of relevant post‑bar legal experience.
Proficiency in Google Applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct investigations into employee misconduct, including violations of federal regulations.
Strong research and analytical abilities to support decision‑making.
Eligible for a public trust clearance.
