Senior Customer Success Manager (Political Vertical)
Base Pay Range
$115,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
Client: Media/Advertising Analytics Organization
Role: Senior Customer Success Manager - Political Advertising
Salary: $115,000-$130,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on level and location)
Location: Remote (Preferred EST time zone)
Must have experience within the Political Vertical
Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) to support clients within the political advertising vertical. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of political clients ranging from self‑serve to fully managed‑service accounts, ensuring they maximize value from a programmatic advertising platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, trainer, and strategic partner to political campaigns, agencies, and advocacy organizations, helping them navigate programmatic media in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes, and compliance‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned political accounts across self‑serve and managed‑service models
Build strong, long‑term client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and expansion
Translate campaign objectives into actionable platform strategies that drive measurable results
Lead client onboarding and deliver structured training sessions on platform usage
Provide ongoing education on product updates, political compliance requirements (including federal and state‑level regulations), and industry best practices
Enable clients to independently manage and optimize campaigns with confidence
Partner with clients on campaign setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
Support managed‑service campaigns to ensure delivery, pacing, performance, and compliance standards are met
Provide real‑time support during high‑pressure campaign cycles
Act as a subject matter expert in political programmatic advertising
Advise clients on targeting strategies, inventory selection (CTV, OTT, display, mobile), and voter audience segmentation
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Ad Operations, and Product teams to represent client needs and feedback
Monitor client health and proactively identify risks and opportunities
Develop success plans to support renewals and long‑term partnerships
Identify and drive upsell opportunities to expand platform adoption and usage
Requirements & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Ad Operations
Strong background in AdTech, programmatic advertising, and DSP platforms
Direct experience in political advertising, including familiarity with compliance requirements (FEC and state‑level regulations)
Political tech, agency, or campaign‑side experience required
Experience supporting both self‑serve and managed‑service clients
Proven ability to train and enable clients on complex SaaS or AdTech platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable insights
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑management skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities
