Base pay range $152,000.00/yr - $285,000.00/yr

Job Description You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships and bringing in new clients. As a Business Development Executive in Mid-Corporate Banking, you will be responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships while championing a culture of innovation and a customer‑centric mindset. Reporting to the Region Manager, you will lead the business development efforts for Middle Market Banking in the region, helping to grow the business through client acquisition. You will identify and qualify prospects, introduce our banking team, credit staff, and other product partners, and showcase your experience in business development, independence, and partnership/marketing skills.

Job Responsibilities

Partner closely with Banking, Credit, Treasury, Service partners, and Asset Management to introduce prospects to our product capabilities.

Propel top-line revenues while maximizing efficiency, with a keen eye toward risk mitigation and compliance.

Serve as mentor and coach to the banking team and lead the region’s prospecting activities, including cross-selling of existing clients when appropriate.

Measure success by effectiveness in marketing areas: calling activity, proposal generation, revenue generation, risk mitigation, relationship building with centers of influence, and long-term franchise building.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

10 years of direct client management, lending, credit support, or similar industry-related experience.

FINRA Series 63, 79, and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire.

Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services.

Experience in cross-selling products and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Strong business development skills, including tactical selling and negotiation.

Ability to partner well with product partners, credit executives, senior management, and client service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and public speaking.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Formal bank credit training preferred.

Strong creative solution and problem-solving skills.
