What you will do

Partner with executive and departmental leadership to define and operationalize strategic priorities across the organization

Lead complex, cross‑functional projects that deliver on NinjaTrader’s growth ambitions—structuring workstreams, managing stakeholders, and driving measurable business outcomes

Conduct financial, operational, and customer analyses to assess performance, identify opportunities, and build recommendations for leadership

Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate new initiatives, partnerships, or operational improvements

Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Director of Strategy and executive leaders, helping shape the company’s strategic planning process, Tier 1 KPIs, and annual operating cadence

Synthesize data, insights, and recommendations into clear, executive‑ready presentations for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors

Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering professional development and analytical rigor within the Strategy function

Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive dynamics to inform NinjaTrader’s strategic direction

What you’ll need

7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, investment banking, or private equity; experience in FinTech or trading industries preferred

Proven track record of leading cross‑functional strategic initiatives from ideation to execution

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to distill complex issues into actionable recommendations

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Strong communication and executive presence, with experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders

Ability to translate strategic questions into quantitative frameworks

A proactive, self‑starter mentality with a high degree of ownership, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines

Bonus Points For

Familiarity with SQL, Google Data Studio, and BigQuery

Financial modeling experience

Compensation The salary range for this role is $160,000–$180,000 USD, with an annual target bonus of 12 %. Bonus pay is based on individual performance (50 %) and company/team performance (50 %). Additional compensation includes a 401(k) plan with up to 3.5 % company match and annual paid time off of 18 days plus seven holidays.

Location Chicago, IL. Remote flexibility is available for candidates in select states.

Hybrid Work Schedule

In‑office Tuesday through Thursday; remote Mondays and Fridays

20 additional flexible remote days annually

5 company‑wide office‑optional weeks tied to major holidays
