Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Superintendent - Commercial Construction - MD/DC Metro: Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a $5M interior renovation project in the Maryland/DC area, requiring strong communication skills, Procore proficiency, and commercial interiors expertise.

Description

On site 5 days a week in Bethesda, MD

Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Manage subcontractors and coordinate schedules for interior renovations and light MEP work.

Maintain clear communication with the client, project team, and end users to minimize disruption in occupied areas.

Enforce safety standards and compliance with OSHA requirements.

Utilize

Procore

for daily reporting, documentation, and project tracking.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

Resolve issues promptly to keep the project on schedule.

Lead progress meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Profile The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent

(or an Assistant Superintendent ready to step up) who thrives in

commercial interior renovation projects

ranging from $1M-$10M. They are highly organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple trades while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key traits include:

Outstanding communicator

with patience and professionalism, especially in environments with sensitive occupants.

Collaborative mindset , able to work closely with clients and end users.

Tech-savvy , proficient in

Procore

and comfortable with digital project management tools.

Safety-focused , holding OSHA 30 or OSHA 10 certification.

Adaptable and calm under pressure, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
