Austin, TX – Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days onsite)

Join us to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures supporting cloud transformation initiatives for the TEDS project. This role requires deep expertise in hybrid networking strategies, ensuring seamless integration between on‑premises environments and cloud‑native services.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement hybrid and multi‑cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on‑prem data center networks with AWS services.
Design secure, high‑performance network architectures that meet compliance, governance, and business continuity requirements.
Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long‑term growth and evolving enterprise needs.
Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission‑critical workloads.
Candidate Skills And Qualifications
8 years required – Extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on‑premises environments.
8 years required – Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies.
8 years required – Hands‑on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
8 years required – Expertise in network security principles, including encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks.
8 years required – Proficiency in high availability design, load balancing, and failover strategies.
8 years required – Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
8 years preferred – Experience with multi‑cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native networking services.
8 years preferred – Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
8 years preferred – Exposure to SD‑WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
8 years preferred – Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
8 years preferred – Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
