Associate Medical Director of Health Services
Monadnock Family Services – Health Care Provider
Description Provide direct psychiatric care to assigned consumers at various program sites, including assessment, diagnosis, medication management, ongoing evaluation/monitoring, and participation in patient treatment planning as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical team.
Responsibilities
Manage teams and projects to ensure the highest level of care and adherence to medical best practices and informatics data.
Ensure assigned consumers receive appropriate diagnostic assessment and treatment management within comprehensive treatment plans.
Provide continuity of care by collaborating with external care providers.
Function as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Contribute to the overall mission of MFS through agency-related functions.
Provide direct psychiatric services consistent with MFS work standards.
Complete administrative tasks to assure optimal availability and utilization of psychiatric time and services.
Perform similar or related duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.
Qualifications
NH Medical License or NH Nursing License and NH APRN License
Current DEA registration
ABPN Certification in General Psychiatry for MDs/DOs
Psychiatric Certification preferred for APRNs
Comfort and knowledge in prescribing for adults and adolescents (formal Child and Adolescent Certification not required).
