Role Overview The Candidate MUST Be Located In The West Region (PST or MST) as this position will be aligned with our West accounts. Ideal cities include San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Remote – West.

As a Senior Customer Success Architect, you will deliver innovative, consultative solutions to our customers, guiding them on data management, taxonomy, and tech stack. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring clean product analytics data and driving product successes.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted technical advisor for our customers.

Possess mastery of Amplitude products to provide strategic consultation in taxonomy design, instrumentation, and data governance.

Be an expert in the Digital Optimization System, guiding customers as they integrate Amplitude into additional data flows and business processes.

Gather, organize, and report trends and customer insights to optimize business processes, documentation, and services.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with teams like Product, Engineering, Platform Support, and Customer Success Manager to streamline internal processes and improve data management experience for customers.

Potential travel is once per quarter.

Qualifications

Execution and customer‑service oriented skills, able to prioritize and complete deliverables on‑time and drive outcomes.

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders of varied experience levels.

Problem‑solving mentality and a positive attitude toward change in a rapidly growing company.

Prior experience with SaaS solutions in product analytics, digital marketing, A/B testing, business intelligence, customer data platforms, data warehouses/pipelines, or integration partners is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

At least 5 years of customer‑facing technical experience with a proven record of engaging enterprise accounts.

Competent in API/SDK concepts, programming languages, and concepts underpinning modern web and mobile development (e.g., SQL, JavaScript, Java, Python, Android, iOS, RESTful APIs).

Recipient Compensation This role is eligible for equity, benefits, and other forms of compensation.

Salary Ranges Based on Colorado law, salary range: $148,000 – $222,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission). Based on California law for San Francisco Bay Area, salary range: $164,000 – $246,000 total target cash. California outside Bay Area: $148,000 – $222,000. Washington State: $148,000 – $222,000 total target cash. Unlimited PTO, 10 – 13 holidays annually, medical/dental/vision PPO and CDHP plans, and a company‑sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
