We are seeking an experienced Network Architect 3 to support a major cloud transformation initiative on a high-visibility project.
Location: Austin, TX 78751
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days onsite – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Interview Mode: Onsite
Role Overview The Network Architect will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid network architectures. This role focuses on integrating on‑premises data center networks with cloud‑native environments while ensuring high availability, security, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement hybrid and multi‑cloud network architectures
Integrate on‑premises environments with AWS services
Define routing, segmentation, and network security policies
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical workloads
Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
Establish network governance standards and best practices
Required Skills and Experience (8+ Years)
Network architecture across AWS and on‑premises environments
Routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
Hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway
Network security principles, firewalls, encryption, and compliance
High availability, load balancing, and failover strategies
Network automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible
Relevant certifications including CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Advanced Networking
Preferred Qualifications
Multi‑cloud networking experience with Azure or GCP
Zero Trust or advanced security architectures
SD‑WAN and network observability tools such as NetFlow, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
Relevant certifications including CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Advanced Networking
