About the Role As a Litigation Paralegal, you’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys on complex cases from inception through trial or arbitration. Under attorney supervision, you’ll handle meaningful, high‑impact work with an emphasis on quality over quantity. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to take ownership of tasks, demonstrate initiative, and contribute strategically to case success.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an organized electronic calendar of case events, deadlines, and milestones
Build chronologies, timelines, and organize documents for discovery, witness interviews, and depositions
Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery responses (state/federal courts and arbitration)
Review, analyze, and organize discovery materials and prepare production charts
Manage documents in our electronic case management system (experience with
NetDocuments
is a plus)
Prepare deposition and records subpoenas in compliance with state and federal rules
Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including exhibit management
Conduct limited legal research and cite‑checking
Interact professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
Track and enter billable time
What We’re Looking For
3+ years
of experience as a litigation paralegal or assistant, with hands‑on involvement from case start to trial/arbitration
Strong knowledge of
Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
and
California Rules of Civil Procedure
Advanced organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision
Excellent written and verbal communication; professional demeanor in all interactions
Self‑starter with initiative, strategic thinking, and a positive attitude
Proficiency with document management software (NetDocuments experience preferred)
College degree or ABA‑approved Paralegal Certificate required
Reliable, collaborative team player who values quality work and professional growth
What We Offer
Competitive salary : $85,000 – $105,000 annually (depending on experience)
