JOB SUMMARY Support the Director as a key liaison for the region with operators in Convention Sales and Hotel to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction. Lead and manage assigned team members to achieve revenue goals, drive customer satisfaction, and expand market share for Caesars Entertainment.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Act as the primary liaison between the Director and regional operators in Convention Sales and Hotel.
Lead and manage team members to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Train and hold team members accountable for following processes related to RFP responses and contracting business.
Coach and develop team members to maximize performance using available resources.
Collaborate with HR and the Senior VP of Sales to implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
Recruit and connect with qualified candidates for future sales positions.
Recognize and reward outstanding performance through company-wide recognition programs and quarterly achievements.
Host regular team meetings via Zoom and occasional in-person sessions to strengthen team connection and provide training.
Utilize forecasting tools and pipeline management strategies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Leverage technology platforms (Tableau, Amadeus, Salesforce, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Knowland, CVENT) to drive business development.
Ensure proper pipeline management using the 90/50/10 coding and decision due date structure.
Set realistic business development goals to maintain Caesars Entertainment's brand visibility and market share.
Attend high-value site inspections to support closing contracted business.
Participate in in-market sales appointments to coach team members and build client relationships.
Organize innovative client events to enhance loyalty and communicate brand updates.
Review financial summaries and pace/position reports to monitor property performance and adjust sales activities accordingly.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Proven leadership experience in sales management, preferably within hospitality or convention services.
Strong ability to coach, train, and hold team members accountable for performance.
Experience in recruiting and developing sales talent.
Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and business development strategies.
Ability to build strong client relationships and support team members in closing business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to travel as required for site inspections, client events, and in-market appointments.
