As a Senior IT Support Specialist you’ll be a key member of Penta Group’s internal IT organization, serving as the primary on‑site technical resource for the Washington, DC office and providing secondary support for other US locations.

In your role you will handle escalations from the internal global service desk, manage issues requiring physical intervention, and ensure reliable performance of local systems, hardware, and office technology.

You will also contribute to technology deployments, system maintenance, and cross‑departmental initiatives to enhance Penta Group’s IT environment. Responsibilities

Serve as the on‑site technical resource for the Washington, DC office, resolving hardware, software, network, and office technology issues requiring physical interaction Provide remote support for other US offices when issues are escalated beyond Tier 1 or require deeper technical troubleshooting Assist in maintaining and monitoring IT systems, endpoints, and office technology to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and security Support the deployment of new hardware, software, applications, and system upgrades across US offices, ensuring smooth integration and adherence to internal standards Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, asset inventories, and technology changes Work closely with global IT team members and other departments to support technology initiatives, office operations, and cross‑functional projects Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices to continuously strengthen IT services and solutions Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or 3+ years of experience in an IT support role Exceptional experience providing desktop support for Windows machines Experience supporting both on‑site and remote end users Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including network systems, endpoints, conferencing technology, and SaaS platforms A basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, identity management, and data protection practices Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills The ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly An eagerness to learn, adapt, and support a globally coordinated IT service model Experience troubleshooting, and providing support, for Mac machines is a plus Salary Range

The base salary range for this position will be $65,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position. Benefits
