Job Overview Nurse Practitioner (MNA)/Physician Assistant – Per Diem – Pediatric Urgent Care – Burlington

Atrius Health is an innovative healthcare leader dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered coordinated care. We currently need a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Pediatric Urgent Care at our Burlington site.

Responsibilities • Provide direct clinical care in an ambulatory pediatric practice.

• Assess clinical problems, prioritize care, design and implement treatment plans, and utilize appropriate consultations.

• Offer pediatric primary care and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Weekend availability is required for this per diem position.

Education & Licensure

Nurse Practitioner: Must be nationally certified as an FNP, PPCNP, or CPNP, graduate from an accredited master's NP program, and hold state licensure to practice as an APRN in Massachusetts.

Physician Assistant: Must be nationally certified, hold Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as a PA.

NP/PA: Must possess or be eligible for Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.

Current Massachusetts professional nursing license (for NP).

Skills & Experience

Minimum of two years of pediatric ambulatory care experience (preferred).

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and patient interviewing skills.

Highly motivated, self‑directed, ability to prioritize, multitask, and work in a rapidly changing environment.

Up to date with current standards of nursing care in pediatrics; demonstrated excellence in practice, documentation, and utilization.

Strong computer skills.
