Position Summary
MassChallenge is seeking a Cross-Functional Program Manager to lead and contribute to a variety of innovative programs, including a combination of Early Stage (Healthcare and Climate) and Challenge Programs (Finance, Healthcare, and security & resiliency), depending on needs and timelines of each program. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects across different sectors and be skilled at fostering collaboration and driving results in a dynamic environment.
Location This role is hybrid and will be expected to work from the Boston office for at least two days per week, typically Tuesday and Thursday.
What You’ll Do
Manage and execute strategies for multiple programs and community stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify areas of friction for founders, judges, and mentors, and propose concrete solutions that work across programs.
Serve as a liaison between startups, corporate partners, and internal teams to support program objectives.
Organize and facilitate cross‑program events (internal and external) and workshops to promote startup development and internal cohesion across programs.
Oversee program logistics, operations, and resource allocation.
Drive initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion across all programs.

Compensation
MassChallenge offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and a supportive working environment.
Salary is based on a nonprofit scale and commensurate with skills and experience.
For this position, the base salary range is $65,000–$70,000.
Internal equity considerations and the average salary of the peer range will be reviewed before making a final offer.
