Data Center Category Sourcing Manager, Supply Chain Procurement (RFP/RFQ)
Base pay range: $93,400.00/yr - $124,500.00/yr

Iron Mountain Data Centers is seeking an experienced procurement professional to assume responsibility for sourcing mission‑critical data center equipment. This role will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities, support large‑scale construction programs, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cost‑effective, timely, and reliable supply solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic sourcing activities supporting mission‑critical data center construction and expansion projects
Plan, execute, and manage competitive sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs
Develop, implement, and continuously improve category sourcing strategies at a regional and global level
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or a related field
Proven experience managing RFx processes and competitive bid sourcing for complex equipment requirements
Experienced in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, process documents and workflows
Proficient in gathering metrics, tracking savings, and preparing data‑driven reports for stakeholders
Exhibits problem‑solving skills, makes business recommendations and thrives in ambiguous environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in data center or infrastructure service provider a plus
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams to align sourcing strategies with supply continuity, budget, and project delivery
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to increase competition, improve resilience, and support long‑term growth
Track savings, cost avoidance, and other value metrics; prepare reports and presentations for leadership and business stakeholders
Create and implement process workflows with a focus on cycle‑time reduction
