This is a highly hands‑on and entrepreneurial role. You’ll design analytics programs, select and implement tools, and translate complex, multi-source data into actionable insights across performance, product, marketing, and operations. As the company scales, you’ll also build and mentor a team and help embed data‑driven thinking into the culture.
What You’ll Do
Build & Own the Analytics Function

Evaluate, select, and help implement analytics platforms, dashboards, and measurement systems
Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and scalability
Drive Insights & Decision‑Making
Translate business and performance goals into clear measurement strategies and learning agendas
Analyze large, complex, and disparate datasets to surface insights that inform strategy and execution
Develop clear narratives that connect data to recommendations and outcomes
Partner with leadership to define KPIs and success metrics across the business
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Collaborate with marketing, product, science, and operations teams to support experimentation, optimization, and growth
Support strategic initiatives by providing analytical guidance and performance measurement
Act as a thought partner to senior leaders on how data can unlock new opportunities
Team & Thought Leadership
Hire, mentor, and lead a high‑performing analytics team over time
Educate internal stakeholders on analytics methodologies, tools, and insights
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging analytics approaches; develop internal POVs on data, performance, and measurement
Who You Are
8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data leadership roles
Proven experience building or significantly evolving analytics programs, tools, or teams
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguity
Comfortable working hands‑on with data while also setting strategic direction
Collaborative, adaptable, and able to influence across functions
Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL
Experience with Python and/or R or similar analytics programming environments
Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
Familiarity with web, product, or performance analytics platforms is a plus
Experience working with large, multi‑source datasets
Why This Role Matters This is a rare opportunity to build an analytics function from zero to one inside a fast‑growing, performance‑driven organization. You’ll have meaningful ownership, real influence, and the chance to shape how analytics powers the company’s next phase of growth.
