Job Title: Regional Manufacturing Head - Nonwoven Automotive Textiles
Location: Regional / Multi-Site (9 sites)
Reports To: Senior Operations / VP Operations
Role Overview The Regional Manufacturing Head is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations across multiple sites within a defined region. This role ensures excellence in production performance, cost efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance while translating business strategy into measurable operational results. The position also plays a critical role in transformation initiatives, capital projects, and leadership development across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional manufacturing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Oversee operations across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Drive operational excellence through footprint optimization, asset utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead cost productivity programs, including fixed and variable cost reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, and labor optimization.
Ensure timely and effective execution of growth and maintenance capital projects within budget and scope.
Promote cross-site collaboration, shared services, and best-practice implementation to maximize regional synergies.
Champion Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), sustainability, and legal compliance across all sites.
Lead and develop site leadership teams, building strong succession plans and fostering a high-performance culture.
Drive digitalization, transformation, and operational excellence initiatives to support long-term competitiveness.
Act as a role model for company values, ethical conduct, and collaborative leadership.
Key Performance Indicators
Free cash flow and capital expenditure adherence
Safety performance (TRIR, lost time injuries, compliance audits)
Cost productivity, waste reduction, yield improvement, and quality metrics
Execution of strategic and transformation initiatives
Talent development, retention, and succession readiness
Required Experience & Qualifications
Extensive leadership experience in manufacturing operations (Plant Head / Operations Head level preferred).
Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance, and EHS functions.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale transformation projects.
Demonstrated success in cost control, operational efficiency, and performance improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field required.
Master’s degree (MBA or technical) strongly preferred.
International or multi-site leadership experience is a strong advantage.
