Advisor to founder-led service companies We seek an Interim Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive accelerated growth for our client in the floor coating industry.

This executive role oversees Sales, Marketing, and Technology functions focused on revenue generation, including e-commerce, digital marketing, and product innovation alignment to expand our direct-to-contractor and retailer channels.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a unified revenue strategy to scale customer acquisition, retention, and expansion across B2B contractor networks, installers, and direct retail channels.

Lead and mentor high-performing Sales and Marketing teams, building scalable processes for lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure.

Partner with Product/Technology leaders to leverage digital tools, e-commerce platforms, and data analytics to optimize online ordering, customer experience, and recurring revenue models.

Own full revenue accountability, including forecasting, KPI tracking, and reporting to the executive team.

Expand strategic partnerships with installers, distributors, and industry influencers while enhancing brand presence through digital marketing, training programs, and events.

Oversee technology-driven revenue initiatives, such as enhancing the 24/7 online ordering platform and customer loyalty programs.

Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive revenue leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CRO or similar role (e.g., VP of Sales/Marketing) in manufacturing, building materials, coatings/chemicals, or related B2B industries.

Proven track record of scaling revenue in direct-to-contractor or e-commerce-enabled businesses, ideally in construction, home improvement, or industrial products.

Demonstrated success leading integrated Sales, Marketing, and Technology teams to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Strong experience with digital revenue channels, including e-commerce, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems.

Exceptional strategic and analytical skills, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

Experience in family-owned or mid-sized companies preferred; familiarity with contractor training/support models a plus.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
