Position Summary
Aquent is partnering with a fast‑growing beauty brand to identify a Senior Manager, Global Visual Merchandising Design who will lead the creative vision and execution of global retail experiences. This role blends hands‑on design leadership with strategic oversight, partnering closely with brand, creative, operations, and regional teams.
Base Pay Range $45.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Responsibilities
Creative & Design Leadership
Translate brand strategy and space planning into compelling global VM concepts.
Lead concept development through sketches, 3D modeling, and clear design direction.
Own VM briefs, presentations, guidelines, planograms, and DTO drawings.
Build and maintain a global 2D/3D library of products, fixtures, and assets.
Cross‑Functional & Project Leadership
Drive alignment across Brand, Creative, Copy, Operations, and regional partners.
Lead the VM Go‑To‑Market calendar, managing timelines, milestones, and budgets.
Partner with Brand Operations to deliver efficient, on‑budget space planning updates.
Brand Stewardship & Quality
Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency, quality, and craftsmanship across all VM outputs.
Anticipate future needs and introduce innovative VM solutions aligned with market trends and brand evolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
7+ years of experience in luxury beauty visual merchandising or relevant retail design.
Advanced 3D design skills (SketchUp Pro or similar) and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Deep knowledge of fixture systems, materials, and global retail formats (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, international markets).
Strong creative judgment paired with operational rigor and project management expertise.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable leading multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
