Senior Mechanical Engineer - HV Power Electronics
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of mechanical solutions for high‑voltage power converters. This role involves the full lifecycle of engineering – from concept design through CAD, analysis, prototyping, testing, and final implementation – working closely with cross‑functional teams in electrical, test, and manufacturing engineering, as well as external suppliers.
What You’ll Do:
Design and develop parts, assemblies, and systems for high‑current power converters.
Work on structural assemblies, high‑current bus bars, connections, routing, thermal management, and environmental packaging.
Use CAD tools for 3D modeling and 2D drafting; support analysis with FEA, CFD, and thermal simulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to bring designs from concept to volume manufacturing.
Engage in hands‑on prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of experience
Proficient in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using commercial CAD software
Familiarity with FEA, CFD, thermal analysis, and Ansys (a plus)
Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes: machining, sheet metal forming, welding, 3D printing, molding, casting, etc.
Proven experience taking designs from concept to volume manufacturing.
Basic understanding of high‑voltage and electrical principles.
