Advocacy Manager The Health Trust (THT) is committed to advancing health equity in Silicon Valley, serving Santa Clara and Northern San Benito Counties. Our goal is to change systems so that all people have access to the resources and opportunities needed to lead healthy, thriving lives. We do that by tackling the physical, political, social, and systemic barriers to health and directly fund and advocate for solutions that respond to both emerging community needs and drive systemic change. As a Funder, Advocate, and Catalyst, we work to ensure all residents can thrive, regardless of income, immigration status, race, gender, age, or socioeconomic status.

What You’ll Do:

Support and execute advocacy strategies for equitable health policies

Build partnerships with community groups, coalitions, and decision-makers

Track legislation and identify opportunities for impact

Translate complex issues into compelling messages and campaigns

Support grassroots engagement and community-led initiatives

Identify when it is appropriate for The Health Trust to be a strong advocate in policy or system change proposals

Represent THT in meetings, events, and policy discussions

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years in advocacy, policy, public health, or community engagement

Strong understanding of health equity and systems change

Excellent communication and coalition-building skills

Knowledge of community organizing and/or power building

Strategic, creative thinker who thrives in fast-moving environment

Commitment to uplifting community voice

Compensation: 85k - 95k
