Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) based in Maryville, IL. The CHRO will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including the development and enforcement of HR policies, employee relations strategies, and talent management initiatives. Responsibilities include leading performance management programs, implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop staff, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The CHRO will also play a key role in fostering a positive organizational culture, supporting the hospital's mission of quality healthcare and service excellence. This role reports to the President and CEO of Anderson Healthcare.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with a deep understanding of compliance and best practices

Proficiency in managing Employee Relations and fostering a collaborative workplace environment

Experience in Talent Management, including recruitment, workforce development, and succession planning

Solid knowledge of Performance Management systems and practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at an executive level

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus

Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly desirable
