Located where the Ozark Foothills and Mississippi Delta meet – Walnut Ridge, Arkansas We are looking for a purpose-oriented President to guide the future of a growing healthcare system headquartered in the Natural State and located on the historic Rock & Roll Highway 67. The organization provides Lawrence County and surrounding areas with quality healthcare through Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Hall Health and Rehabilitation, Family Medical Center, and our specialty clinic. The President will serve as the organization’s senior leader, responsible for setting direction, fostering a strong organizational culture, and overseeing system-wide operations. This role is accountable for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care while strengthening clinical performance, financial health, and the organization’s role within the community. Working directly with the Board of Directors, the President will collaborate with medical staff, clinical leadership, and administrative teams to ensure alignment between mission, strategy, and results. Primary areas of responsibility include: Strategic Planning alongside the Board of Directors and executive team Driving quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes Ensuring strong financial stewardship and operational efficiency Strengthening community partnerships and regional presence Navigating healthcare transformation, value-based care, and regulatory change This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a mission-critical healthcare system serving a community defined by adaptability, progress, and a strong sense of identity. Qualified candidates will bring three to five years of senior executive experience within a hospital or acute-care setting. Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including governing bodies, medical staff, employees, and community partners. A solid understanding of healthcare leadership practices is essential, including organizational development, physician relations, financial management, regulatory compliance, risk and insurance considerations, and rural healthcare reimbursement structures. Relocating to Walnut Ridge will be necessary in order to foster community relationships. A relocation package will be offered.
