We are seeking an accomplished, mission-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead a dynamic, hospital system poised for growth and headquartered in
America’s Steel Capital . This integrated system includes
two acute‑care hospital locations as well as primary care
and specialty
care clinics . The CEO will provide strategic, operational, and cultural leadership across the enterprise, ensuring high quality, patient‑centered care while advancing clinical excellence, financial sustainability, and community impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will partner closely with physicians, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to align strategy, performance, and mission. Key responsibilities
Strategic Planning alongside the Board of Directors and executive team Driving quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes Ensuring strong financial stewardship and operational efficiency Strengthening community partnerships and regional presence Navigating healthcare transformation, value‑based care, and regulatory change Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have Three to five years’ experience in top‑level management of a small hospital or other acute care facility. Previous exposure to and experience in working with the broad spectrum of organizational, community, and medical staff interpretations. Working knowledge of management principles, organizational development concepts, group dynamics, medical staff organization, corporate and operational finance, legal implications, insurance requirements (workmen’s compensation, professional liability, fire, and theft, etc.) and rural health financing. This is a rare opportunity to lead a vital healthcare organization in a community known for
resilience, innovation, and reinvention . Relocating to Mississippi County will be necessary in order to foster community relationships. A relocation package will be offered.
