If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills and talents and grow in your profession, while serving and strengthening our Native Hawaiian community, we would love to have you join our ʻohana!* Maintain all accounts payable records, reports, computations, and audits.* Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.* Stay updated on tax changes and advise management on implementation impacts.* Oversee month-end and fiscal year-end reconciliation and accruals of payable transactions.* Prepare consolidated reports on professional and legal fees, travel and business expenses, and accounts payable aging.* Generate support and attestations for tax filings.* Serve as the in-house contact for technical tax compliance issues.**Minimum Qualifications** - An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.* Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.* At least 3 years of supervisory experience in accounts payable.* Proven experience with automated AP systems.* Proven experience to analyze, reconcile, and synthesize complex information and prepare reports for senior management within deadlines.* Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a high degree of accuracy.* Customer service oriented, fostering a service-oriented environment.* Excellent knowledge of accounting theory and practices.* Experience managing a large, multi-location accounting function with strong leadership skills.* Proficient in large computerized accounting systems with high transaction volumes.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various levels of management and staff, both internal and external, including vendors and contractors.* Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required to meet goals and objectives.* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, and/or Concur software systems/applications.* Experience in an education and/or real estate environment.Kamehameha Schools offers a dynamic, innovative and collaborative work environment for growth-minded individuals who embrace culture and diversity.Deeply committed to shaping a thriving and vibrant future for Native Hawaiians, Kamehameha Schools aims at finding the right people for the right roles, who bring talent and passion to our mission.
