The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the DeWitt region seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Design, procure, and qualify tooling, fixtures, and production equipment. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions. Support new product introduction (NPI) from design transfer to full-scale manufacturing. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve throughput, and enhance product quality. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications. Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement preventative measures. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 2-5 years of direct experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a production environment. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design of fixtures, tooling, and process layouts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs. Experience with automation, robotics, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.
