The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Whitehall that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Design and procure manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs. Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements and ensuring smooth transition from design to production. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implement corrective actions, and preventative measures. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and enhance product manufacturability. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing fixtures, tooling, and process layouts. Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen). Experience with process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production line balancing.
