Chief Technologist
to serve as the technical face of the organization for enterprise clients and major projects. This is a high-visibility role, designed for a technical leader who is passionate about EV charging solutions, thrives in customer-facing environments, and is ready to make a major impact. For the right individual, this position offers a clear pathway to grow into a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role as the company continues to scale. Key Responsibilities: Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for EV charging products, particularly DC fast charging solutions. Support the Sales, Business Development, and Enterprise teams during client engagements by providing deep technical guidance and product expertise. Lead technical discussions, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective and existing customers. Translate customer technical requirements into actionable feedback for the internal Product and Engineering teams. Assist in the development of technical documentation, whitepapers, and solution briefs. Guide customers through complex integrations, certifications, and interoperability questions, particularly for large fleet, commercial, and municipal deployments. Stay current with EV charging standards (e.g., CCS, NACS, OCPP), regulatory changes, and competitive landscape. Represent the company at technical conferences, webinars, and industry events as needed. What We’re Looking For: 7+ years of technical experience in the EV charging, energy storage, automotive, or power electronics sectors. Deep technical understanding of EV charging infrastructure, especially DC fast charging equipment and communication protocols (OCPP, ISO 15118, CCS, NACS, CHAdeMO, etc.). Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Applications Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Field Engineer). Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset. Proven leadership potential with an ambition to step into broader technical leadership roles. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
