The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing comfort and safety to our clients.
*Responsibilities*
* *Residential Systems:* Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems for homes, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and more. Provide expert advice to homeowners on system performance, maintenance, and energy efficiency. * *Commercial Systems:* Service and troubleshoot larger, more complex HVAC systems for businesses, including rooftop units, commercial refrigeration systems, and packaged systems. Ensure systems run efficiently to meet the needs of commercial environments, addressing specific demands such as larger square footage and higher usage. * Perform routine maintenance on both residential and commercial systems, including inspections, cleaning, and testing. * Document all work completed and maintain accurate service records, ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly tracked. * Provide clear, concise communication with customers regarding services performed, repairs needed, and options available for system upgrades or replacements.
*Skills*
* Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC field- Minimum 5 years experience. * Strong knowledge of various HVAC systems, including residential air conditioning, heating, ductless systems, and commercial rooftop units, VRF systems, and refrigeration units * Proven ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment with precision and efficiency * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. * Experience in property maintenance is advantageous. xmvmafu * Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues in a clear and accessible manner * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * EPA Certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) is preferred * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
