Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes. Design, test, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment. Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing processes and ensuring manufacturability. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and BOMs. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Production to resolve issues and achieve production goals. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and efficiency improvements. Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing manufacturing tools, fixtures, or layouts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Familiarity with automation, robotics, and PLC systems in a production setting.
