We are seeking a strategic and technically grounded
Head of Technical Product Management
to lead our software portfolio in the
Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Automation & Control
space. This role bridges
product innovation
and
operational technology (OT) , requiring a deep understanding of grid automation systems such as
SCADA, ADMS/DMS, DERMS, and edge solutions .
You will drive the
product vision , lead a team of technical product managers, engage with utilities and industry stakeholders, and translate
real-world operational challenges
into modern, scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
Define the product strategy and vision for T&D automation software (e.g., SCADA, DERMS, ADMS, Historian, WAMS).
Develop a multi-year product roadmap aligned with regulatory trends and emerging technologies.
Ensure strong alignment between utility customer needs and technical innovation.
Lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Managers.
Establish agile product development practices and go-to-market strategies.
Foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sales, and customer success.
Product Execution & Development
Prioritize features for grid automation, DER integration, and control solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and regional teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
Integrate customer-driven features from field deployments of ADMS/DMS systems.
Leverage cloud-native architectures, AI, and edge computing for T&D software.
Engage utilities, regulators, and field operators to understand operational pain points.
Stay current on industry standards, cybersecurity, and grid modernization trends.
Translate utility feedback into actionable product requirements.
Technical Sales Support (USA)
Act as a technical advisor to sales and business development in the U.S. market.
Gather and interpret customer feedback to shape product enhancements.
Contribute to sales enablement tools and competitive analysis.
Business & Financial Impact
Optimize licensing and pricing models for adoption and profitability.
Define and track KPIs to measure product success.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in
Technical Product Management
for T&D software.
Proven track record with
SCADA, ADMS/DMS, DERMS, EMS , or grid optimization systems.
Experience in field implementation or delivery of OT/control room solutions is highly valued.
Strong foundation in
software development, cloud platforms, AI/ML , and edge architectures.
Deep knowledge of industry standards (IEC 61850, CIM, IEEE 2030.5, OpenFMB, NERC CIP).
3+ years of experience in
technical sales or pre-sales
in the
North American
utility sector.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Advanced degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (MBA or MS preferred).
Lead the transformation of T&D automation through cutting-edge software.
Be the
voice of operational excellence
in a product leadership role.
Influence global utilities and support the energy transition.
