new Multifamily division

in Chicago and is seeking a

Senior Project Manager

to play a foundational role in building and scaling the group.

This is not a backfill. This is an opportunity to help

shape the division from day one

— influencing how projects are pursued, staffed, and delivered, while working directly with executive leadership.

Opportunity

Founding leadership role within a newly formed Multifamily platform

Direct exposure to ownership and executive decision‑making

Ability to influence systems, standards, and team structure

Clear path toward Project Executive / Division Leadership as the group scales

High‑profile, downtown Chicago and Chicagoland multifamily projects

Responsibilities

Lead multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout

Manage project teams including PMs, APMs, Superintendents, and trade partners

Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management

Partner with leadership on staffing plans, project strategy, and delivery approach

Establish best practices for a growing multifamily portfolio

Serve as a key client‑facing leader and culture carrier for the division

Project Experience

Ground‑up and/or large‑scale multifamily construction

Podium, wrap, mid‑rise, or high‑rise residential preferred

Project values typically ranging from

$25M–$150M+

Qualifications

10+ years of experience with a general contractor or construction manager

Proven success leading complex multifamily projects

Strong financial acumen (budgets, forecasting, buyout)

Comfortable operating with autonomy and ownership mindset

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
