Job Description Conducts thorough assessments to identify areas needing improvement. Analyzes data from patient safety incidents and near misses. Designs a patient safety program with policies, procedures, and protocols aimed at reducing errors and enhancing patient safety. Ensures the program aligns with national and international standards and guidelines. Implements the program across the organization, including training staff and integrating safety practices into daily operations. Continuously monitors the effectiveness of the program through regular audits, feedback, and performance metrics. Evaluates outcomes to identify successes and areas for further improvement. Ensures compliance with standards and guidelines set by regulatory bodies, accreditation organizations, and best practice frameworks. Provides ongoing education and training for staff on patient safety principles and practices. Establishes clear reporting mechanisms for safety incidents and near misses. Communicates findings and improvements to all stakeholders, including staff, patients, and regulatory bodies. Leads a multidisciplinary team to foster a culture of safety.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
Master's Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $112,092.75 - $208,492.52
