Summary Of Position The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance is a key executive leader responsible for setting and executing the financial strategy for a multi‑site healthcare organization. This role provides enterprise‑level financial leadership to support growth, scalability, and operational excellence while ensuring strong fiscal governance.
The SVP of Finance partners closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors to drive financial performance aligned with AllerVie’s mission and long‑term objectives. This leader will also work collaboratively with the in‑house Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, bringing a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, cash flow dynamics, and revenue integrity across a multi‑location platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies, policies, and long‑range plans that support sustainable growth and scalability.
Lead all financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, and enterprise risk management.
Oversee capital planning, investment strategy, and financing initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and integration efforts.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, executive team, and Board by delivering clear, data‑driven financial insights and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulatory requirements, internal controls, and reporting standards.
Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Clinical Leadership, Legal, Human Resources, and Revenue Cycle Management to align financial strategy with operational and clinical performance.
Maintain strong relationships with external partners including auditors, lenders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Lead, mentor, and scale a high‑performing finance leadership team capable of supporting a growing, multi‑site healthcare platform.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, analytics, and reporting infrastructure.
Monitor key financial KPIs, payer mix, reimbursement trends, and market dynamics to proactively manage risk and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
CPA strongly preferred (CFA or equivalent certification also considered).
10+ years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, with healthcare industry experience required.
Proven experience supporting or leading finance functions in a multi‑site, multi‑entity organization.
Demonstrated success in strategic financial leadership, including M&A, capital structure optimization, and partnership with private equity or investors.
Strong working knowledge of healthcare finance, including reimbursement models, revenue cycle fundamentals, and regulatory compliance.
Deep expertise in GAAP, financial modeling, forecasting, and capital markets.
Executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior leaders and the Board.
High proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
Preferred Experience
Experience in private equity‑backed healthcare organizations.
Hands‑on partnership with in‑house RCM teams and understanding of payer dynamics.
Track record of driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and scalable growth in complex environments.
Physical Requirements
Primarily office‑based with extended periods of computer use.
Ability to travel periodically to clinic sites, leadership meetings, and investor engagements.
