Position Description The Haas School of Business is creating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in the Sustainable and Impact Finance initiative, including the Sustainable Investment Fund and the Climate Solutions Finance course, as well as other courses covering climate and impact financial intermediation, entrepreneurial finance, public‑private partnerships, and climate finance solutions.
General Duties
Teaching courses in the Sustainable and Impact Finance program.
Holding office hours.
Assigning grades.
Advising students.
Preparing course materials.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree.
Additional qualifications (required at time of start):
Minimum of four years of professional practice in a field relevant to the courses taught.
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in sustainable finance, ESG investing, early‑stage venture capital, climate or energy transition investment, or impact investing strategy. Higher education teaching experience and an advanced degree by start date are preferred.
