What to Expect We are seeking an experienced Service Cost Optimization Project Manager to lead cross‑functional teams in identifying and implementing cost‑saving initiatives in procurement of products and services for Tesla Service, Sales, Delivery, and Collision Centers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving cost‑reduction projects in these areas, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

What You’ll Do

Manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve cost savings targets in consumables and tooling procurement for service centers.

Analyze purchasing and financial data to identify areas of cost savings and develop business cases to support cost‑reduction initiatives.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to identify, track, and prioritize cost‑saving opportunities in Tesla Service, Sales, Delivery, and Collision Centers.

Develop and implement process improvements to achieve cost‑reduction goals in procurement, sourcing, damage chargebacks, purchasing standardization and controls, and collision repair work.

Collaborate with stakeholders to n negotiate with suppliers and contractors to achieve cost reductions, improve quality, and ensure on‑time delivery of essential products.

Communicate project plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including senior leadership, through regular reports and presentations.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and report on forecasted and actual cost savings achieved.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in purchasing and/or financial analysis, or equivalent experience.

Proven track record of driving cost reduction projects in procurement and contracted services, with excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience analyzing financial data and developing business cases, and effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Expected Compensation $88,000 – $186,000 /annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
